Maple Wood Prints offer a warm and natural-looking print that is also eco-friendly. This is especially true for minerals created in the earth. This high resolution print shows a tiny (62 mm) concentric or banded agate from Artigas, Uruguay featuring soft shades of mainly blue, grey, and green circling around a lovely free-form center that just seems to fizzle out. The outer edges are striking translucent crystals of amethyst, making a strong contrast with the bands. The image is printed onto 1/2” wood using a special inkjet system, and then the inks are bathed in UV light to seal and lock the pigments in. A white ink underlay on the maple surfaced wood board makes the true colors of your image pop, but the margins showing the maple wood and its grain are preserved to give your print a framed, no glare appearance!
