This remarkable Fire Agate comes from the southwestern United States, a geographic area that was subjected to massive volcanic activity during the Tertiary Period, around 24-36 million years ago. Its colors are unusually brilliant, with ample iridescence of rainbow colors. But more than anything else, it boasts a fanciful, spectacular globular texture (known as botryoidal), that adds a visual element of the surreal. Few can afford a piece like this one, but now you can stare and wonder at the piece on your desk all day! Our 1-inch thick, polished blocks are crafted using a unique casting method that ensures crystal-clear, deep, and realistic images, so that you will want to reach out and touch it! The Giclee process is used to create the print, and it’s been enlarged for an unforgettable viewing experience. Just put it on a shelf, desk, or table and enjoy! Because of the very unusual nature of this image, we are offering it in an 8x10” size, along with the regular 7x5”. It will look and feel like a true cave experience!
