Yowah opals are found exclusively in the fields southwestern Queensland, Australia, and usually show vibrant play-of-color in red, blue, and green within ironstone concretions. Here we have a large pink center at left, contrasting with the other featuring a deep maroon center surrounded by iridescent ring of opal. They form within ironstone nodules and resemble nuts in shape and size. Our 1” thick polished blocks stand upright on flat surfaces and are made from a superior cast method for clarity, depth and realism.
