$66.86
Imagine yourself in the mountains of South Africa and coming in view is ancient cave art! The mountains are the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg and the ancient art is by the San people, oldest known inhabitants of the area. The art is perhaps 5,000 years old, and it depicts in great number the eland, a kind of deer with long, extended necks. For the San people, the eland was God's special animal, the one most filled with his magical power and potency. Some of those depicted at the top left are superimposed over elephants, while others appear in the distance. Our 1-inch thick, polished blocks are crafted using a unique casting method that ensures crystal-clear, deep, and realistic images. The Giclee process is used to create the print, and it’s been enlarged for an unforgettable viewing experience. These look great on desks, shelves or tables, and also make great gifts.
